On Day 2, the journey unfolds with a sense of exploration and discovery as you bid farewell to the tranquil surroundings of Narkanda. Embarking on the road once again, you’ll traverse through winding mountain roads, offering mesmerizing vistas of snow-capped peaks, lush valleys, and cascading waterfalls. As you venture deeper into the Himalayas, you’ll make your way towards the remote village of Chitkul, nestled along the banks of the Baspa River. Known as the Last inhabited village near the Indo-China border, Chitkul captivates with its untouched natural beauty and traditional wooden architecture. The adventure continues as you depart from the serene village of Raksham and set your sights towards the enchanting village of Nako. Continuing your journey, you’ll ascend further into the Himalayas, crossing high mountain passes and traversing through dramatic landscapes that unfold before your eyes. Finally, as the sun begins to set, you’ll arrive at the quaint village of Nako, nestled at an altitude of over 12,000 feet above sea level. Set against the backdrop of majestic peaks, Nako welcomes you with its serene charm and ancient monastery, offering a tranquil retreat amidst the rugged beauty of the Himalayas. Departing from Nako, your first stop will be the captivating Gue Monastery, a hidden gem nestled amidst the rugged terrain of the Himalayas. Enroute to Dhankar, you’ll traverse through awe-inspiring landscapes adorned with towering cliffs, emerald valleys, and pristine rivers, immersing yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the region. Your first destination for the day is the iconic Key Monastery, perched atop a rocky hill overlooking the Spiti River. As you approach Key Monastery, you’ll be greeted by its majestic white-washed walls and golden spires, exuding an aura of ancient mystique and spiritual serenity. Explore the monastery’s labyrinthine corridors, adorned with vibrant murals, ancient scriptures, and ornate statues, and soak in the tranquil ambiance of this sacred site. You’ll embark on an exploration of the charming villages of Langza, Hikkim, and Komic, each offering its own unique blend of culture, history, and natural beauty. Arriving in Langza, you’ll be greeted by the tranquil ambiance and rustic charm of this ancient village, known for its rich fossil deposits and stunning views of the Chau Chau Kang Nilda peak. From Langza, your journey continues to Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office, nestled at an altitude of over 14,000 feet above sea level. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to send postcards to friends and family from one of the most remote postal services in the world. Finally, you’ll make your way to Komic, the highest inhabited village in Asia, perched at an altitude of over 15,000 feet above sea level. Explore the ancient monastery, interact with the local monks, and marvel at the stunning vistas that unfold before your eyes, before descending back to Kaza to rest and recharge for the adventures that lie ahead.

Departing from Kaza, you’ll traverse through rugged mountain terrain, each bend in the road revealing new vistas of majestic peaks and sweeping valleys. The route to Chandrataal takes you through some of the most dramatic landscapes in the region, with towering cliffs, sparkling streams, and pristine meadows painting a breathtaking panorama. Along the way, you may encounter nomadic herders and their flocks, adding to the sense of adventure and wilderness. Upon reaching Chandrataal, the serene ambiance of this high-altitude gem, surrounded by the tranquility of nature in its purest form. Take a moment before settling into your campsite for the night. Under the star-studded sky, with the Milky Way stretching overhead, you’ll unwind by the campfire, sharing stories and laughter with fellow travelers, as you relish the magic of Chandrataal.

Departing from Chandrataal, you’ll traverse through rugged mountain terrain, each turn revealing breathtaking vistas of snow-capped peaks and lush valleys. As you wind your way through the Himalayan landscape, you’ll soon arrive at the iconic Chacha Chachi Dhaba, a beloved roadside eatery known for its delicious home-cooked meals and warm hospitality. Energized by the delicious meal and the camaraderie of fellow travelers, you’ll continue your drive towards Manali, passing through quaint villages and verdant forests along the way. As the day draws to a close, settle into your accommodation in Manali, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences of the day and eagerly anticipating the adventures that lie ahead in this enchanting Himalayan town.

Spend an additional day exploring Manali and its beautiful surroundings. Hadimba Temple, a wooden temple dedicated to the goddess Hadimba Devi. Enjoy a relaxing stroll along the Manali Mall Road, which offers a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants. If you are interested in adventure activities, Manali offers options like paragliding, river rafting, and trekking. Alternatively, you may opt for a visit to the peaceful Vashisht Village, known for its hot springs and ancient Vashisht Temple.

On the concluding day of your remarkable self-drive expedition, Day 11 marks the bittersweet return journey from the enchanting town of Manali to the bustling metropolis of Delhi, where your unforgettable adventure draws to a close. Cancellation Policy

* 50% of the amount will be charged as Cancellation Fees if cancelled anytime prior 10 days of Departure Date.
* 100% of the amount will be charged as Cancellation Fees if cancelled within 10 days of the Departure Date.

  9. DONOT FORGET TO CARRY ATLEAST 2 JERRYCANS of 20 lits each to AVOID low fuel worries. (Fuel stations are limited and fuel consumptions is high due to low oxygen and offroad/uphill drives. Locals will help you with the Fuel but on a price higher than market rate)
